The Best Dream Ever.... PART 3!!!

This story may be all that'll be on my blog for a while.
DO YOU KNOW HOW ADDICTING IT IS TO WRITE?!!?!? SERIOUSLY!!!!!
Oh, and guess who just finished The Mark of Athena?!
WORST CLIFFHANGER EVER!!!! AND I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT FALL AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I mean both cliffhanger figuratively AND literally.
-=THAT IS WHAT TRUE LOVE IS!!!!!=-
I'm crazy, aren't I. Yup. Anyways.

A continuation of the Best Dream Ever written by Erin, daughter of Poseidon.

---

"How long does it take to get a pen!?" cried Lauren, pounding her head on the table. I gave an exasperated valley girl sigh and stood up.

"C'mon Lauren, let's go find her," I said, standing up and tugging Lauren's wrist. "With a demigod's luck, she might be devoured by monsters already." That got Lauren up.

She ran over to the cashier and screamed in his face, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH BAILEY?!!?" The cashier cringed and dramatically wiped his hands down his face.

"Hey girl, say it, don't spray it." Lauren scowled, whipped out a dagger (where did she get that from?! We all know she can't be trusted with sharp objects!) and pointed it at the guy's throat. His eyes widened and he raised his hands up.

"Alright, alright! In the back! She's in the back!!" Lauren put away her knife (thank gods) and the two of us burst into the back, almost knocking down the door. We hoped not to see Bailey getting devoured by monsters, but what awaited our eyes might have been worse. We walked in on Bailey and Nico! I could not believe my eyes! They weren't kissing or anything, but still! They were staring at each other fondly, looking quite shocked when Lauren and I burst in.

"Were you... SNOGGING?!" exclaimed Lauren. She turned green, covered her mouth, and ran outside.

"For your information we were NOT snogging!" yelled Nico after her.

"Dude, can't your dad see everything? You guys are in SOOOO much trouble," I taunted, which probably wasn't the best idea considering I was taunting two death-dad-kids.

"It's called a spell," said Nico, like it was the most obvious thing ever.

Then I realized they were sort of blurry. And a bit darker. I realized there was a thin black veil around the two of them; it seemed to be shifting. I reached out with my left hand to touch it and immediately recoiled. It was freezing! It seemed to be literally draining the life out of my hand. Just the average thing for them apparently, because they were having a ball inside there! Lauren stumbled back in, clutching her stomach, and I gave her a big hearty pat on the back. Apparently that wasn't the thing to do, because she ran outside, covering her mouth again. Nico raised his eyebrows at me. I wanted to change the subject.

"Bailey, we were WORRIED!! You could have come out and told us that you wanted some snogging time with Nico. We would have let you be! We just thought you were in danger or something."

Bailey was just about to reply when the pressure changed and a large pop come from outside. It also got really cold. I heard Lauren outside, hacking her guts out.

"UGH, DISGUSTING!!!" came a familiar voice. "RIGHT on my soul-robes. Now the furies will have to launder them..."

Nico gasped and immediately shadow-travelled away from Bailey. Actually, away from all of us. He just disappeared.

"Your brother/boyfriend's a wimp," I said. Bailey gave me quite a lovely glare. The two of us walked out of the back room to see what on earth was going on. Bailey's dad, looking quite dejected, was holding a barf bucket on his knee while Lauren fulfilled the purpose of it. When she finished, Hades stood up to address all of us.

"Daughter, Romans, Nieces, lend me your ears. I come to-"

"Dad," interrupted Bailey, "We're Greek, not Roman. We have no SPQR arm tattoo."

"I have an ankle tattoo," I said. "It looks like an eye."

I was stared at.

"It doesn't matter, Bailey, the point is I have a pretty good idea of where my insolent brother's iPhone is, and I came to assist you."

"DID SOMEONE JUST CALL ME INSOLENT?!" I turned and saw my dad walking towards us, little whirlpools forming in the places where he stepped.

"Not you, brother, you're not the most insolent of us." My dad shrugged and nodded. We all stared at the sky, expectantly.

After a few minutes of waiting, Bailey shouted, "Hey Lord Zeus, my dad just called you insolent!!!"

"Yeah," chimed Lauren, "and so did Uncle P!"

"Uncle P?" said Bailey, trying to contain a laugh. I put my hand over my mouth and stared at the ground, trying not to break a grin.

"Yeah, what's-- oh," said Lauren, realizing and loosing it at the same time. The three of us fell to the ground, rolling around and clutching our stomachs. We were interrupted when a large boom of thunder cracked through the air, and before we knew it Zeus was standing next to his brothers.

"So, you called me insolent, did you? WELL-"

"I did, brother," said Hades, "Frankly, you annoy me and I think I can do things better than you. I don't know why you got to be head god." There was an awkward silence while Zeus tried not to explode.

"There's a reason you're only god of the Underworld," retorted Zeus. Hades clenched his fists in rage. At a nearby hospital, screams of agony went up while most of the occupants dropped dead.

"YOU KNOW--" Hades was cut off when my dad flicked his hand and zipped both of their mouths shut. All of the big three looked very outraged, so I decided to try to calm everyone down before World War III broke out.

"Uncle Hades, why did you come to talk to us in the first place?" I asked. My dad let his brothers open their mouths.

"I was going to help all three of you on your quest, but now I think I'm going to change it up a bit. I think Bailey should be the leader of this quest," he said.

"Now, brother," said Zeus, putting his say in, "you have the right notions, but you have the wrong child. Lauren is obviously the most capable person on this quest, therefore she should be leader."

"What are you talking about?" said Poseidon. "Erin is the obvious leader." Then the three of them started squabbling again. I looked at Bailey and Lauren, and they returned my look. 'Adults are idiots.'

"HEY!" I shouted, over the din of noisy gods. "I HAVE AN IDEA!" They looked at me.

"What if the three of us split up? That way we can each lead our own 'quest.' Since nobody seems to know where the iPhone is," (I shot a glare at Zeus at this point) "Bailey can search underground, where  she's in her element, Lauren can search over the land by flying, so she's in her element, and I can search underwater, where I...well...I can't breathe underwater, but technically that's the obvious choice for me."

They looked at each other and seemed to actually start to be convinced. They gave each other long stares, and I wondered if gods have telepathy.

"It's... not a bad idea," said Zeus reluctantly, "but I don't like the idea of my daughter travelling alone. If something happens, she's by herself." Hades nodded, actually agreeing with his brother on something.

"I don't like it either," said my dad, "And my daughter can't even breathe underwater. I propose we send another hero along with them, just so they're not by themselves."

"And they must be another of our children," added Zeus. "So I choose Jason Grace to accompany Lauren!" Zeus snapped his fingers, and Jason appeared next to Lauren, looking very shocked and in a towel. He was also dripping wet.

"DAD!" protested Jason, "I was in the baths!"

Zeus looked down and realized one of his children was half-nude, so he snapped his fingers again and Jason appeared in full battle armor. His knees crumpled, and he sat down to take off the heavy bronze.

"I suppose I should introduce you two," said Zeus. "Jason, this is Lauren, Lauren, this is Jason."

"...Hi," said Lauren, obviously feeling rather on the spot.

"Um, hi," said Jason, struggling with his breastplate. "Dad, that doesn't tell me very much about her at all."

Zeus looked sort of uncomfortable. "I'll just let you two get acquainted on your own time. After all, you will be going on a quest together!"

"A quest?!" exclaimed Jason, looking genuinely confused. While Zeus and Lauren started to explain the circumstances to him, Poseidon turned to Bailey and me.

"To accompany my daughter, I choose...well, I don't have that many children, so I choose Percy Jackson!" Poseidon snapped his fingers and a very dizzy Percy appeared next to me.

"What just happened?" Percy asked, dazed and stumbling. Our dad put a firm hand on Percy's shoulder.

"Son, this is my daughter!" said Poseidon, which provided no explanation at all.

Percy continued to look stunned. "I have a... sister?"

"Half-sister," I corrected.

"Whoa... are you Roman?"

"Nope, Greek."

"Cool," said Percy, actually grinning a bit. "I'm going to...sit down now." He stumbled backwards into a chair.

"So... Percy, Erin. Erin, Percy," said my dad, looking anxious to get on to the next topic. "Hades, your turn!"

Hades turned to Bailey. "My hero is Ni-- no!" Hades apparently started to realize he didn't want Bailey to see Nico, or Nico to see Bailey. What he ended up saying sounded rather like 'niƱo.' Hades apparently wasn't fast enough in changing his mind, though, because as soon as he said the syllables 'Ni,' Nico shadow-travelled back to where we were and grabbed Bailey's arm. He really gave her quite a fright.

"I'm here, father!" said Nico, grinning and trying to get on his father's good side. "I think it's a marvellous decision for me to accompany Bailey, because--"

"NO!" screamed Hades, fire blazing in his eyes and more people dying at the hospital. "I will not permit that!"

"Remember, brother," said Zeus unhelpfully, "It has to be one of your children."

Hades seethed. It was frightening.

"Fine, then," seethed Hades, "I choose Hazel Levesque!" Hades snapped his fingers and Hazel appeared, brandishing her calvary sword and charging towards the wall. She stopped when she realized where she was.

"What happened?! I was going to charge cohort 2, but then..."

"Hi Hazel!" said bubbly Bailey. "I'm Bailey, and I'm your half-sister! Well technically, quarter-sister, since I'm Greek and you're Roman. You like horses, right? Well, me, not so much. I haven't even fought anything yet! I'm new, butmaybeyoucanhelpmeoutsinceyou'reallswagandthat--"

While Bailey was rambling, Hades picked Nico up by his shirt collar while Nico frantically tried to grab Bailey's arm. He failed. Hazel noticed him.

"NICO? What are you doing here?!" exclaimed Hazel. "You told me you went to the Underworld but you never came back! Have you been avoiding me?!"

"Um, no," said Nico. He tried to reach for the shadows and escape, but Bailey's dad wouldn't let him there.

"Nuh-uh, young man," said Hades, "you're coming with me today." Nico proceeded to sulk.

Hades then added, "If you don't change your attitude maybe I'll tell Persephone to turn you back into a dandelion. HAHAHAH!"

Hades shadow-travelled and took Nico with him.

"Well," said Zeus, "you all better be on the way to your new quests. Six demigods in one place give off quite a scent, so I suggest you be on your way." Then Zeus disappeared. My dad turned to leave, too.

"Dad," I said, before he left, "what am I supposed to do? You know I can't breathe underwater."

I must have looked pretty troubled because he put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Remember what you have?"

"Bermuda triangle privileges?" My dad nodded and winked. UH-OH.

He disappeared, too. All of us demigods sort of acknowledged each other for a moment.

"Hey Jason," said Percy, breaking the silence. "You doing okay?"

"Guess so," replied Jason. "What about you, Percy? It's been a busy year for you, you know, with all that... Underworld business." Jason seemed to tiptoe around the topic. Hazel bristled.

Before Percy had a chance to reply, Hazel said, "Speaking of which, Bailey and me should be going. You know what Lord Zeus said about monsters."

"Right. See you, Haze," said Percy, giving her a smile. Bailey waved goodbye to Lauren and me, and they stepped down into a tunnel I was sure wasn't there a few minutes ago.

"We should be going too," said Lauren.

"Can you fly?" Jason asked her. "I think dad mentioned something about flying?"

"Of course!" said Lauren. "I flew to Olympus last time."

"Great," grinned Jason. He took her hand and the two of them flew off, looking like Superman and... a flying Lois Lane. Or whatever blond superheroine could fly.

"Well," said Percy, turning to me, "should we be off?"

I nodded, and we set off towards the nearest ocean.

The Best Dream Ever

This was the most crazy dream I have ever had. Enjoy. It's stupid. I made some parts of it up because I can't remember things this vividly.

---
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" said Chiron the centaur. He welcomed the three of us in with a grin. Everyone gathered around to poke at us like we were on display in a science lab.

"Rachel had a prophecy about these three girls, so we will watch and wait."

I turned and looked at my two friends. They looked as confused as I did. Bailey and Lauren had been my friends for years, and we were tight-knit. Of course we were summoned to this camp together. It was just natural. Lightning flashed, and everyone's mouth dropped open, staring at Lauren.

"All hail Lauren, daughter of Zeus!" Everyone got down on their knees and bowed to Lauren. There was a ringing sound, and all their heads snapped up again. There was a ghost-looking thing over Bailey's head.

"All hail Bailey, daughter of Hades!" Everyone's head dropped. The earth rumbled, and their heads snapped back up. They were staring at me; I had a trident over my head.

"All hail Erin, daughter of Poseidon!" They bowed once more, then everyone stood up. Bailey, Lauren and I were giving each other physco looks. What the heck?!

"So it's true," said Chiron. "These must be the three from Rachel's prophecy! It went;
Three daughters from Zeus, Poseidon and Hades
Will have their adventure and not catch rabies
The underworld is very bad
But it's also where they'll find Zeus's iPad."

"So we have to go to the underworld and find Zeus's iPad?" asked Bailey.

"Exactly!" said Chiron. They kicked the three of us out of the camp after giving us some ambrosia and nectar. We were taking the bus to the underworld entrance when we saw a MASSIVE tornado terrorizing all of America.

"Hey Lauren," I suggested, "Since you're his daughter maybe you should calm him down before the USA gets destroyed. Lauren used her wind powers and flew to Olympus to calm down Zeus. It must have worked because by the time Bailey and I got to the Underworld the tornado was gone.

Bailey and I just breezed past the guy with the boat who wanted a coin because she was a VIP to the Underworld so we got comped. We went to Hades's castle and Nico diAngelo was in the garden trying to keep Persephone from trying to turn him into a flower. Bailey gasped.

"Who is THAT?!?!?!" she asked Persephone.

"Eugh, that's Nico," said Persephone with disgust. Bailey and Nico ran up to each other and their eyeballs were replaced with pulsating hearts like in animated TV shows and anime. Just then Hades happened to walk out with a huge iPad in his hands.

"Alright, what's going-- EUGH!!! WHAT ARE TWO OF MY CHILDREN DOING HOLDING HANDS WITH HEART-EYEBALLS!?!?!?!?!" he screamed.

"But daaaaaaaad--" protested Nico.

Hades got so mad he threw the iPad out of the underworld and it landed in the ocean. "Two of my children aren't supposed to fall in love with each other!!! THAT'S SICK!!!"

"But daddy, Nico is so perfect, with his pale skin and dark hair and all the awesomelyhandsome stuff..." fawned Bailey.

At this point I felt really awkward so I went back to the guy with the boat and paid him a drachma to take me out of the Underworld. I went to the ocean where Hades had thrown the iPad and dived in. I saw it at the bottom and I swam down to it. I was running out of air, but I figured being the daughter of the sea god, I would be able to breathe underwater. I took a deep breath and started to choke. Apparently I hadn't inherited that ability!! I grabbed the iPad and quick swam to the surface before I drowned completely.

I surfaced and started coughing up water. Some old surfer-hippie looking guy started to give me CPR.

"Sorry, dear, you didn't get to inherit that ability from me."

I sat up. "Dad?"

"Yeah."

"COME ON, HOW COME PERCY JACKSON CAN BREATHE UNDERWATER BUT I CAN'T?!?!"

"Well, you get Bermuda triangle privelages and he doesn't."

"Sweet."

"Now, you better get to Olympus before Zeus throws another tornado again." Then my dad disintegrated into a bunch of seawater which blew and hit my face.

"Ew," I said. I got on another bus and travelled to the Empire State Building. Bailey was waiting there for me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I got grounded," pouted Bailey. "And I'm not allowed to see Nico again until I'm dead. Ugh. Fathers can be soooo annoying. Anyways, did you get the iPad?"

"Yeah," I said, holding up the 10 foot wide iPad I had in my hand. The two of us got in the elevator and went to Olympus. It was sweet. When we got out, we were greeted by Lauren. The three of us took the iPad to Zeus who was really glad to have it.

"Marvelous!" exclaimed Zeus, playing Angry Birds. My dad was beaming down on me from his throne next to Zeus.

"See," my dad started to say, "Our children really can work togethe-"

"Shove it, Poseidon," said Zeus. "You made me shoot a bird too high! But they did do a fine job, didn't they." Zeus actually put down his game and gave us a smile.

"Oh, by the way, you three," Zeus continued, "I recently lost my iPhone... could you do me a favor?"

Cleverbot: Only this, and nothing more.

User: Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December.

Cleverbot: And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.

User: I didn't realize this was a sad occastion.

Cleverbot: No it's about robots.

User: You're supposed to say 'The world is quiet here'!

Cleverbot: I think I know what the question is.

User: What. Tell me.

Cleverbot: To be produced, and to then reproduce.

User: THAT IS NOT A QUESTION!!!!!!!!!

Cleverbot: No, that is the answer.

User: So... 'Young lady, have you been good to your mother lately?' 'To be produced, and to then reproduce.' That doesn't make any sense, bot!

Cleverbot: That sounds like 'alive' in a very basic sense.

User: I didn't realize this was a sad occasion.

Cleverbot: I didn't say you were.

User: When I say 'I didn't realize this was a sad occasion,' you say 'The world is quiet here,' okay?

Cleverbot: Well, I don't recall saying any of that. Maybe YOU are the liar here.

User: I didn't realize this was a sad occasion.

Cleverbot: It's hard, loving someone you can't be with.

User: AAAAAAAAHHH!! YOU SUCK!!!!! GOODBYE, BOT!!!!!

Cleverbot: You can not die.

Tuneless prose

You and I were friends.
I never thought I'd feel this terrible.
It saddens me.

Why, you ask?
I don't know.
I know you wouldn't want me to feel this bad.

You were too nice.
You never had to try.
You had big dreams...

Nothing ever lasts.
You're living proof.
At least, you are now, but you're not living.

I can't help thinking.
I think about the things you'll never do.
You'll never play another soccer game.

You'll never turn fourteen.
You'll never graduate.
You'll never get married.

Have you even had a girlfriend yet?
No.
I feel sorry for you.

I cry for you.
For all the things you'll never get to do.
And now it's worse.

It was just new year, my dear.
Would you have been fourteen by now?
I don't know.

I never bothered to get your birthday.
And now I will never be able to.
I know your path will be one I'll never cross again.

Every night.
You keep me up.
How can I sleep when you're asleep forever?

I loathe waterfalls.
They steal away from me.
People don't even notice.

And why should I tell them?
They'll think I'm crazy.
But I still think, on my own.

It's been four months.
I'm plagued by you.
It comes out at night when no one's watching.

I'm anguished.
I didn't know you that well.
We never kept in touched when I left.

But if I could go back, I'd keep you forever.
I'd steal you away so you would stay here.
Breathing. Thriving.

You had success in you.
It was waiting for the right moment to be unleashed.
That moment never came and never will.

What can I do?
Nothing.
I want to do something, but I can't control time.

I'm going to do something great.
I want to make a difference.
You'll never see it now.

You'd never read the book dedicated to you.
But it will be.
Because I'm going to make a difference for you.

I wonder if you're happy.
Are you happy?
If your soul is floating around and reading this, I hope you are.

You deserve it.
You were brilliant.
I miss it.

Even if I didn't keep in touch, the thought that you were there is what counted.
I just feel empty.
I didn't think about it.

And when I search your name, things come up.
All the stories about two boys drowning.
At the waterfall.

I found your Youtube.
I see you've not been active since August.
And I know why.

But what can I do?
Of course I've thought about joining you.
We could be happy.

But now I know the pain.
And if I left like you did, others would feel that.
I can't bear to put such a pain on them.

Just know, if you're out there.
I care.
And I cry.

As Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked into the theatre company, they immediately regretted it. The place was a bustle with children running around crazily, and the trio was overwhelmed. They inched their way into a corner, bumping into another trio who were already huddled here.

"Oh, we're terribly sorry," apologized Hermione for the three of them. "We didn't mean to disturb you, we were just trying to get out of the mess of children."

"That's quite alright," said the boy with glasses. "We were in this corner to escape the madness too."

At this point a young girl, held by the eldest of the strangers, made a very cute cooing sound. This made all Harry, Ron, and Hermione smile, and Hermione bent down to the little girl's level.

"Well, aren't you sweet!" exclaimed Hermione, grinning at the girl. "What's your name?"

"Unny!" replied the girl. Hermione looked at the eldest girl quizzically.

"She means Sunny," explained the girl. "This is Sunny, my little sister. I'm Violet, and my brother is Klaus."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," said Harry. "This is Ron, and that's Hermione, and I'm-"

"He's Harry Potter, of course!" interrupted Ron, looking somewhat proud to have 'The Boy Who Lived' as a friend. "But I'm sure you know that already," he continued. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny exchanged looks.

"Well, no, we don't know him," Violet said. "I don't think we've met before. But it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Ron looked appalled.

"You mean...you don't know HARRY POTTER?! Crying out loud, he's bloody defeated Volde-"

"Ron!" hissed Harry sharply, cutting him off. "They're muggles, of course they wouldn't know! Let just try to fit in for once, alright?"

"Excuse me," said Klaus, looking quite confused, "What did you just call us? Mugs...?"

"Oh, it's just a word for people who don't go to the same school as us," explained Hermione, thinking quickly. "Think nothing of it." Klaus nodded, thinking he understood a bit more. The group fell into an awkward silence until it was broken by Sunny.

"Creebo!"

"She sure does have a funny way of talking," commented Hermione.

"What my sister meant," added Violet hastily, "was that she was wondering if there are a lot of fun things to do at your school, like having hard things to bite. Sunny loves to bite things." Sunny grinned widely, showing her four large teeth in affirmation of Violet's last statement.

Hermione glanced at Harry and Ron, looking a bit uncomfortable about the topic. "Well, there are a lot of things to bite, I suppose. We have some stone statues in our front courtyard, which are very hard indeed. There are hard desks we use for studying...and...oh, there's a library full of hard books."
"A...library?" Klaus asked, his eyes suddenly lit up with the mention of the word.

Hermione nodded, a small smile on her face. "Yes, we have quite big library at our school since it is a boarding school. Do you like reading?"

"Oh, yes," replied Klaus, adjusting his glasses slightly. "Reading and researching are my favorite things to do."

"Mine too!" Hermione replied, starting to look almost as excited as Klaus. "What's your favorite thing to read about?"

"Well personally, I enjoy the water cycle very much," said Klaus with a smile on his face. "What about you?"

She thought for a moment. "Hmm...well, for some reason, I've always found books about World War II to be extremely interesting," Hermione said, almost shyly.

"That's a great topic. I've read some excellent books by brilliant authors on that very topic in the library."

"I read about that at the library, usually. Their selection always beats the small home library my family has. Do you have a library at home, too?" Hermione watched as Klaus' face slowly fell.

"Well," he said after a long pause, "We used to. But...it burned down with the rest of our house in the fire.

Hermione replied quietly, "Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. That's not the kind of answer I was expecting."

"It's alright," said Klaus, smiling at Hermione weakly. "You didn't know." Violet nodded with him and decided to continue, looking a bit perturbed herself.

"Our house burned down a few months ago. Everything was destroyed but us."

"Wesaonsurve!" said Sunny, which meant something like, 'We are the only ones who survived!' and Violet was quick to translate.

"Oh!" exclaimed Hermione, "I'm so sorry! I truly didn't mean any disrespect." She looked at the ground sadly.

"So...you guys are orphans?" asked Ron. The three Baudelaires nodded.

"Where do you live, then?" Harry asked, quite a bit of curiosity in his voice. "Do you live with relatives?"

"Yes, for the most part," replied Violet. "We had lived with our Uncle Monty and our Aunt Josephine...that is, until they passed away." Harry, Ron, and Hermione's eyes continued to grow larger at all of their new friends' unfortunate circumstances. "Then we went to work at a lumber mill because apparently one of our relatives was running it. But we got...kicked out, I suppose you could say. Now Mr. Poe, the man who's in charge of our care, has sent us to this camp while he tries to find a new guardian for us. But the first person whose care we were under, Count...Olaf..." Violet's voice trailed off, a tad of fear in her eyes.

"That's terrible," said Harry, the corners of his mouth in a frown. "I was orphaned too, and I live with my terrible uncle, aunt, and cousin, but nothing that unfortunate has happened to me. This...Count man, is he horrible?"

Klaus took up the courage to speak about him next. "Well, it's quite obvious all he wants is our fortune. But he seems to do anything in his power to get his hands on it. He tried to marry Violet, and he follows us around wherever we go. I don't know how he does it. He was why Uncle Monty and Aunt Josephine died, and why we got kicked out of the lumber mill."

Hermione gaped, somewhat indignantly. "But..doesn't anyone help you?" she asked, appalled at how terrible things could be in a muggle's life.

"Gize!" Sunny exclaimed, which Violet translated meant, 'No one knows its him because he always wears a disguise.

"How do you three know it's him then?" asked Ron, looking rather suspicious.

"We can just tell," said Violet, "the way you can tell if someone's your uncle or not. He has these terrible beady eyes that always have a familiar evil shine in them. He also has a tattoo of an eye on his ankle and a thick unibrow."

"Well, at least he doesn't have a snake nose!" Ron said with a laugh, getting glares from Harry and Hermione and confused looks from the Baudelaires.

"Never mind," sighed Ron, attempting to direct the conversation back to books.

"I can't believe you dragged me into this!" said Nellie, stepping into the theatre company with her platform black-leather boots. She cringed at the noise level.

"I can hear these kids over the sound of the music from my iPod!" she said, pulling out an earbud gingerly. Amy followed her inside and turned to face Dan.

"I can't believe you dragged me into this either. Remind me why we just HAVE to do this again?" Dan followed his sister and au-pair inside the building and closed the door.

"Well, to be technical, the clue we found on the music sheet led to this theatre place. But we can have fun while we're at it, right?" The two girls looked at him lamely.

"You can't be serious, Dan. I won't be able to focus on anything with all these kids. And you expect me to share living quarters with some of them?!" exclaimed Amy, looking really stressed out.

"Relax, A," said Dan. "Some of them will get cut out of the show anyways. You have to audition, after all. Plus, the rooms are just like dorm. With about 8 more people..."

"Wait. We have to audition? What if one of us gets cut?" asked Nellie.

"Of course we have to audition! It's a play. And you just better act your way into it!" came Dan's smug reply. The three of them sat on the floor, leaning on the wall, and waited for the auditions to start.

Katniss made sure to hold tight to Prim's hand. Too much had gone into getting them into camp, and she didn't want anything to happen to her sister or herself. She bent down and straightened Prim's frock, then stood back up, surveying her surroundings closely.

"Stay close," Katniss told her sister as she took a few hesitant steps into the room. Katniss wasn't one to be afraid of things, but she had to admit being in a new place as big as this one was pretty intimidating. She walked across the room with Prim and determined this camp probably wouldn't have very high supervision levels. She could already see people whispering in corners, lounging around on the floor, and burning off energy by running around and being as obnoxious as possible. She decided she was going try to find some kind of adult when she heard someone calling her name.
"Katniss!" What? Who could possibly recognize her here?

She looked over to see who was calling her name and she gasped. How did HE get here? She didn't even know his name. Katniss' breath caught in her throat as he started to walk over to her, a million different thoughts going through her head. What would she say to him? She didn't have any time to decide because he was next to her, looking for a response.

"You're the...bread guy," Katniss said meekly, kicking herself for not having a better response ready. She scanned the boy's face and saw a slightly dejected look.

"Well, yeah," he said, "I do work in a bread shop..."

"How do you know my name?" asked Katniss, deciding to go out and say what had been plaguing her mind ever since she saw the person.

"I don't know yours."

Katniss saw a slight tinge of red jump to his cheeks, and the gears in his head turn as he attempted to think up an excuse.

"Well, I know a lot of people," he said, extending his hand. "I'm Peeta." Katniss gave him a small glare and refused his touch him. His handshake was still met, however, but it was from Prim.

"Hi Peeta," said Prim, the tune of innocent youth still in her voice, "I'm Prim."

"It's nice to meet you, Prim," said Peeta, offering her a small smile.

"We're happy to meet you too," said Prim, speaking for both Katniss and her. "I've seen you around District 12. You saved our lives once. Thank you." Peeta was about to reply when Katniss cut him off.

"And how did you get here?" she asked. When Peeta continued to look confused, she elaborated.

"Half of our District had to donate to get Prim and I to this camp. So how did you get here?"

Peera studied his feet for a moment before mumbling out a response. "Ingotaspon..."

"What?!" asked Katniss loudly, a hue of annoyance in her voice.

"I got sponsored."

Katniss looked stunned, and replied slowly so she could try to comprehend what he had just said.

"Someone in the Capital...wanted to sponsor YOU? Out of all people?!"

Peera looked slightly hurt, but nodded.

"But you're just a bread boy!" cried Katniss, sitting down in a huff.

"Katniss, wait! You don't get it!" cried Peeta, but his protests were ignored. Prim took his hand gently, him a few feet away from Katniss, and the two of them sat and talked.

The first thing Oliver did when he walked into the room was hiss at Emalie, "Someone's going to find out!" Emalie just shrugged it off.

"Not if you're careful," she replied.

"Yeah, but when I'm talking they can see my teeth," Oliver paused and smiled really wide, his two fangs blatantly displayed.

"Well, then don't smile really wide," offered Dean. "If no one sees them, they won't suspect anything."

"Oh, yeah," said Oliver sarcastically, "coming from you that seems really easy."

"Hey," protested Dean, looking kind of hurt, "I had to take about fifteen baths and wear pounds of cologne to mask my smell. All you have to do is not smile." Oliver raised an eyebrow.

"Just don't pull any skin off," he said. Dean was preparing to retort when Emalie spoke.

"Um, guys? Who are they?" she said, looking to her right as a group of three people approached, looking very determined.

"...Hi?" said Oliver, looking as confused as he felt.

"Are you who I think you are?" the girl addressed Oliver. Oliver took a moment to look over them as his brain thought of an answer. The girl who had spoke to him looked really tough. Actually, they all looked really tough. She had blond hair and these...striking gray eyes. The older boy who was just slightly taller than the girl had...turquoise eyes? Oliver didn't really know what color to describe them as. They were sort of a sea-green. Oliver looked at the last boy. He looked gothic, his hair jet black and his skin really pale, and...what was up with his eyes? They were pure black, and looking at them made Oliver rather uncomfortable, like he was witnessing something sacred. What was up with them? Oliver's brain finally formulated what he thought was a safe response.

"Who do you think I am?"

"I think you're a son of Hades," said the girl. Oliver looked at Emalie and Dean.
"What?" he asked, looking very confused.

"A son of Hades...?" the younger boy asked, looking unamused that Oliver seemed to not know what he was talking about. "That'd make you my half-brother."

"Uh, sorry," said Oliver, starting to get concerned about these people's mental health. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm a son of...well, Sebastian, but he's not my real dad-"

"Aha!" interrupted the girl. "So you are a demi-god!" Oliver's response was another confused look.
"Um, Annabeth," said the other boy who had been standing there watching, "maybe he actually doesn't know what we're talking about. Maybe he's not-"

"But look at him!" said the girl who was apparently called Annabeth. "Look at his skin! It's as pale as Nico's! And you said he has that aura...right Nico?"

The boy who was called Nico replied, "Yes, he definitely has that aura of death around him that the children of Hades have. And..." Nico turned to Dean, "he does too." Annabeth looked at Oliver and the other boy smugly, and Oliver lost his patience, his eyes flaring amber.

"Look, I don't know who you guys think you are, but-"

"Percy, Nico!" Annabeth shouted, staring at Oliver, "His eyes do that thing at Nico's do when he gets angry! Annabeth reached out to touch him as Oliver recoiled, barring his teeth in a hiss. Annabeth flinched exuberantly and jumped back several feet behind the guy Oliver assumed was Percy.
Oliver felt a slight emission of warmth near his left shoulder and he turned to find the pale boy, Nico, with a small dagger out. It was glowing golden, and Oliver found himself flinching and covering his eyes. He concluded it must have some type of sunlight resemblance in it.

"I don't think he's a demi-god," said Nico to Percy and Annabeth.

"Then what is he?" asked Annabeth, moving next to Percy to get a closer look at Oliver. "A monster?"

"Stop it!" shouted another voice suddenly; it was Emalie. "He's not a specimen, you can't just go poking at him however you like! Put that down!" She turned to Nico as she said her last sentence, and he looked caught off guard.

"You mean..." he asked, in a state of disbelief, "you can see this?"

"If you mean I can see your dagger that you're holding at my friend's throat, yes, yes I can! Put it down!"

"But you're a mortal!" exclaimed Percy, looking confused as well. "Can you see this?" Percy took a pen out of his pocket and clicked it. It turned into a sword.

Emalie nodded, but looked a bit unwary at all the weapons this trio was carrying.

"Maybe she's an Orani," suggested Annabeth.

"I have Sight, if that's what you mean," retorted Emalie. Annabeth was about to reply when a big, booming voice filled the entire room.

"Welcome!" said a man who was on stage holding a microphone to his mouth. "The auditions for the theatre will begin in a few minutes! A would like to ask the ladies to move to the right side of the room and line up, and the gentlemen to line up on the left side of the theatre. You may direct any questions to me, Monsieur Valjean."

And so our story begins.

Another best story EVER

Once upon a time there was a wizard named Eriky. And he had a sister named Loony Potter. Together they made a school called "Pigwarts." Then Loony sat next to Christine the cyclops maiden.

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?" she asked.

"Nico the rock brought me back to life," said Christine the cyclops maiden. Then Nico the rock appeared and yelled, "Where are the toilets?!?! I have explosive diarrhea!!"

Then Nico the rock sniffed and ran into the wall. Loony Potter laughed and accidentally threw her spectra-specs at Nico. Nico farted and yelled, "Can you conjure me a toilet?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!"

Then Bailey Granger appeared and conjured a mini-toilet. Then Eriky asked everyone if they had forgotten about him in song.

"♪ Have you forgotten about me Christine?♪" And Christine the cyclops maiden yelled:

"Stranger danger!" Then Eriky pulled of his mask and the whole room screamed with fear. And Nico the rock screamed like a little girl.

"♪ I thought you had explosive diarrhea?♪" Then everyone jumped like crazed snails. Then Loony hurt her foot.

The best story EVER.

We made this up in the car, playing that game where you can only say one word at a time. I don't have a good memory so I probably messed up a lot. But enjoy!

Once upon a time there was a cyclops maiden. Her name was Christine. Christine hated chocolate, which she really didn't like. Christine went to Camp Half-Blood. She went swimming. Then Christine fell.

"Help!" she screamed. Annabeth heard her, and yelled:

"Tyson!" Then Annabeth started laughing maniacally, and stuck her dagger in the sand. Then she slapped Percy on his bottom.

"Ouch!" Percy exclaimed. Then Tyson rescued Christine the cyclops maiden. Then Thalia appeared and said:

"I'm going to turn back into a tree!" Then Thalia turned back into a tree. Then Nico appeared and summoned an army of skeleton warriors. Then he died and turned into a rock and the rock was next to Thalia's tree. Then Thalia turned back into a person.

"Eww Nico stay away from me I'm a huntress I can't even have any boyfriends." said Thalia. Then she walked 7 feet away and turned back into a tree. Then Grover played his reed pipes and made strawberries grow all over Thalia. Then Percy punched Clarisse in the stomach.

Then Christine the cyclops maiden and Tyson decided to go dancing and they broke Percy's trident. Then Percy got mad and threw Clarisse out the window. Then Voldemort came and shot Avada Kadavra at Christine the cyclops maiden. Then Christine the cyclops maiden and Tyson sang A Little Fall of Rain. While Christine the cyclops maiden was dying, Marius appeared and started vomit burping.

THE END.

October.

OOOOOOOOHHHH!! It's October. The month of the scary....stuff.

Start getting your Halloween costumes ready! You can NEVER be too old. Guess who I'm going to be? It's not that hard. It's the person...who I keep writing about...with the mask....?

Anyways, I am super excited because I have a hat, a cape, and I found gloves. WOOHOO!

So I actually have no idea what to talk about. So this'll kind of be A LITTLE ILLUMINATION, GENTLEMEN! DUN DUNDUNDUDNUDNUDN!!! Haha, sorry, I couldn't resist.
As I was saying, before my POTO mind took over, this'll be a little overview of what I'm thinking of posting. If there's anything you want to see sooner than later, leave me a comment and I'll try to write it up.

I was thinking of posting another From the Mind Of from little Erik's point of view because then I could describe how his mask was the first thing he ever wore, and how when he looked in the mirror...actually, I got the inspiration for this from one of my friends who posted these pictures. The one of little Erik looking in the mirror was practically heartbreaking.

"I'm... I'm...ugly...."

Cry, cry, cry, cry. But actually I think that'll turn out more like a fanfic, so it'll take me a while to write. I might even post it on the fanfic website after I'm finished with it. But it will definitely take me a while because I want to post it all in one, multiple chapters never get finished. Haha.

I'm also thinking of making my own Les Miserables parody. Because hilarious things can be done with that show. Again, it'll also turn out as a fanfic.

For the 30th I'll try to get up a post on the Tell-Tale Heart. Poe....oh lord. He is one of the most AMAZING authors ever. EVER. He combines the perfect amount of darkness into his stories...
Buahaha. It's like something Eriky would write! But I have to tell you I am NOT a fan of that picture of him. Freaky....
You have to admit that's kinda freaky...

Anyways, tell me too if there's a From the Mind Of you'd like me to write. Though I don't guarantee I know the characters.

Until next time,

Your obedient friend and servant.

Me and Erik

I always like to think of myself as the Phantom of the Opera. Erik Destler. Because Erik is so close to my name, I've just started calling myself that. And I'm obsessed with the Ph.O. So I thought you might like this.

First, a little introduction:
In January, right after I watched Les Miserables, I got totally addicted to it. (I mean, who wouldn't? It's awesome.)
My parents helped me load almost all their musical CDs onto my iPod. Except the Barber of Seville. Darn.
But anyways, when I was talking to some of my POTO friends (at this time I didn't know the characters or ANYTHING) and there were two Christine Daaes. I was so confused. I thought the same person had made two or something. Anyways, I tried listening to the Phantom of the Opera, because that was one of the soundtrack I now had and was admiring the Overture because of the AWESOME organ part.
Then I listened to Think of Me. And then they said Christine Daae. And I was like "OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH DUH!"
Well, from there I listened to the whole thing. I noted 3 things:
  1. The girls scream about everything. "EEK, a backdrop fell down!" "EEK, we're talking about a lasso!" "EEEEEEK, Christine you were awesome!"
  2. Carlotta's voice is really...uh....
  3. The Phantom sounds the awesomeist, acts the awesomeist, and is the awesomeist!
So at night I started listening to the whole thing before I fell asleep. Well, not the whole thing. Just the Phantom parts. Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night, both Notes! And Stranger Than You Dreamt it...I could list them all here but you'd get bored.
Then I went online to wikipedia and read the summary for the book.
Then I went online to wikipedia and read the summary for the musical because he dies in the book but in the musical he just disappears.
Then I saw the book on discount in Target and a bought it without hesitation!!!
Then I read the book and cried at the end.
Then I started singing along to all of his parts in the musical and found that I can make everything (except for the Music of the Night. That song is so freaking low!)
Then I started wishing I was a boy so I could sing the Phantom.
Then, seeing as I can't change genders, I thought that I could take voice lessons and help make my voice lower. That's not really working out so far.
Then my mom got me a paper somewhat phantom mask. And I loved it. And I had this colonial boy's hat from Colonial Williamsburg and I would wear both of them together because the Phantom has a hat in the beginning of the musical.
Then I decided I would be the phantom for halloween and started getting out those old witch costumes that are made of that really stretchy black fabric that gets runners easily and decided I would make it into a cape.
Then I saw the Phantom musical in Manila with my friends and it was absolutely perfect and that is what I am going to be going on about for the next for months. Sorry Les Mis, you've been put on hold.
Then my dad bought me the REAL phantom mask (see my other post) and am even MORE motivated to be the Phantom for halloween!

I wish someone was living in my walls behind my mirror.
Erik
Actually, that would probably really freak me out, but he could give me voice lessons. That would be neat!

Erin
Anyways, here's a picture I thought you might get a laugh out of.
Thank you Bailey for going along with all my stupid ideas. And pretending to be asleep or something.

Inspiration has strucken! (In a sense.)

I have gotten a sudden inspiration to blog! It's probably because I have time now that I'm taking a twication. Anyways, I had to do this English assignment and didn't quite pass. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but that English assignment was the best piece I have written. Maybe ever. But I wrote a poem about my feelings. I think I channeled my anger into the poem pretty well. Please let me know what you think! (That means comment.)

You have a gift for words; he said.
Perhaps I let it in my head
For as I lay upon my bed,
My heart was filled with glee.

Alas, the morning I awoke
And not a single word was spoke
I'd failed the test, and what was took:
The spirit out of me.

What?; exclaimed I; Yes, what is this?
To drag me down in the abyss,
The sheer stupidity of this,
Surely it cannot be!

Then something hardened in my heart,
For surely I had done my part,
To just be thrown into the cart
Would not become of me.

With pride in self and new resolve
Into the challenge I did delve,
And of the piece? It did evolve.
Well, see what thinketh he.
